Investment funds are collective investments that pool investors’ money to buy and sell shares or other assets in a range of companies to maximise profits and reduce risks  

 

  

Unit Trusts, Open Ended Investment Companies (OEICs) and Investment Trusts are types of ‘actively managed funds’ where a fund manager buys and sells investments in an attempt to outperform the market or a benchmark.
