Content is King! and ever more so since the battle for content has increased amongst SVOD (Streaming Video On Demand) and more recently AVOD (Advertised Video On Demand) since recent entrants came into the market such as Disney+, HBO Max, Apple TV+ amongst others writes Peter Simes

Describing itself as ‘a new type of content creation company, built on a heritage of feature film production’ Red Amber Green Productions is currently looking to raise £2m on a pre-money valuation of £4m. (EIS advance assurance has been applied for)

RAG is a new content creation company with a focus on cultural icons, designed to meet the global demand for premium content.

Building upon the exemplary creative track record of Geezer & Blonde documentary films, it plans to add in-house Sales, Marketing, and commercial management while in parallel delivering multiple
titles to market; it targets an exit valuation of c.£100m+ by 2027.

Key team member Alan G Parker is a six-times EMMY nominated film Director, along with business partner/Producer Alexa Morris, he is part of the team that created; Hello Quo! The Official Status Quo movie (Anchor Bay Pictures/Studio Canal), Monty Python: Almost The Truth – The Lawyers Cut (Eagle Entertainment/IFC), It Was Fifty Years Ago Today! The Beatles; Sgt. Pepper and Beyond (Kaleidoscope Pictures/Studio Canal), Who Killed Nancy (Peace Arch/Soda Pictures), Rebel Truce: The Clash (Eagle Entertainment/SKY TV).

Both Parker and Morris have even bigger big screen dreams, which led their Geezer & Blonde production company to become part of the newly formed RAG productions Ltd.

Our Current Projects:

1. We have the world rights to the only Charles Dickens book that hasn’t yet been dramatized in any way ‘The Haunted Man’. Since 1940 Dickens movies have always performed well at box office.
2. We have the first ever full-length cinematic documentary on the American band KISS, one of the biggest selling bands/brands on planet earth! They celebrate 50 years together in 2023.
3. We have a John Lennon big screen documentary movie ‘Borrowed Time’, which includes a number of previously untold stories and some incredible unseen footage.
4. We have the world rights to produce a documentary movie on The Marquee Club, perhaps the most famous rock venue ever!
5. We have the first ever documentary on the singer/actor David Essex, with full press support from David upon release. His fan base is both huge and loyal.
