As part of my work, I like to write about topics related to investments and I have always found scandals relating to Ponzi Schemes and Pyramid schemes an interesting area. For this reason, I decided to produce this visual asset on the topic. It takes you through how they both work and what the key differences are between the two scams.

Many will remember the Bernie Madoff investment scandal that was revealed to be a Ponzi scheme in 2008. Amazingly, investors needed at least $20 million to invest in the scheme, which shows how easily influenced people can be by these schemes.
